bass flinders distillery noble stranger australian brandy cafe sazerac cocktail

Café Sazerac

Dark, bold, and just a little bit dangerous. This winter twist on a Sazerac layers the velvety warmth of Noble Stranger with the richness of coffee liqueur and a whisper of sweetness. Finished with a twist of orange, it’s smooth and aromatic, the kind of drink that invites slow conversation and late nights.

Ingredients:

30ml Bass & Flinders Noble Stranger Australian Brandy
20ml Coffee liqueur (not too sweet)
10ml Sugar Syrup
1 piece orange peel

Method:

Add all ingredients to a stirring glass. Muddle orange peel. Add a good handful of ice to stirring glass. Stir for 10-15 secs or until glass becomes frosty and ice cubes begin to round.
Double strain into small cocktail glass of your choice.
Garnish with dehydrated ornage slice and serve.

If you want to get fancy, rinsing your serving glass with absinthe adds a nice aromatic element.
