A fresh take on the classic Negroni, this month’s cocktail pairs aromatic Bass & Flinders Orient Gin with bittersweet grapefruit, apple and tart rhubarb for a beautifully balanced serve that’s bright, bittersweet and a little unexpected.

THE RECIPE
25ml Orient Gin
30ml Pampelle Grapefruit
30ml Apple Rhubarb Liqueur
20ml Sweet Vermouth
2 dashes Rhubarb Bitters
STEP-BY-STEP
Add everything to a mixing glass or jug with plenty of ice.
Stir until beautifully chilled, then strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
Garnish with dehydrated apple and rhubarb.
That’s it. No shaker required.
